Tool Crib Application

The ToolCrib is a tool inventory management application designed to efficiently manage tool utilization and inventory within organizations. It tracks tool usage, availability, and maintenance schedules, and provides reports for maintenance and resource allocation.

Tool Crib app is developed using .NET Framework, C#, Blazo, SQL Server, and Entity Framework to handle tool information and administrative tasks.

This application is a custom app that was initially developed for CAMCO Manufacturing Inc. to manage critical machining tool information, including specifications, locations, maintenance schedules, and availability. We integrated it with their CNC Setup Sheet App to sync tool data from the Tool Crib when creating/accessing any setup sheet.
This application is fully customizable and scalable according to organizational requirements. The UI design is also designed according to organizational demands and is fully customizable for future modifications or to create new UI applications. CAMCO Manufacturing Project

CAMCO Manufacturing is a manufacturer of precision components for the aerospace, automotive, and many other industries. They use CNC machines to make high-quality parts/components. They were facing problems with manual tools management, spreadsheets for tooling information, and setting up machines. To tackle the concerns/manual approaches, they collaborated with Texono IT Solutions to develop a Tool Crib and Setup Sheet Application.
Texono developed a custom Tool Crib application that provides a centralized platform to manage critical machining tool information, including specifications, locations, maintenance schedules, and availability. And it seamlessly integrates with CNC Setup Sheet Apps to automatically synchronize tool data directly from the Tool Crib during setup sheet creation and utilization.

The View Options include viewing all products and all gauges and include Search Features such as Search All for general search across the database, Search QRN for specific search by QRN (Quick Response Number), Search Serial # for search using serial numbers, Find QRN/Gage/Location for targeted searches for QRNs, gauges, or specific locations, and Additional Fields options.

  • Tool Kits Section

Tool Kits Section with Fields like Shop Order Number to manage and track orders, Part Number to track parts associated with orders, Search Options to Search for Kit/Multiple options for kit search, and Tool Kits Status Report to generate reports on the status of tool kits.

  • Transaction Section

Transaction Section with buttons for basic access to all basic tool crib functionalities, daily inventory transactions to manage daily inventory activities, full transaction history to view the complete history of transactions, and other search options like History by QRN/SO#/Gage ID/Employee and search transaction history by various identifiers.
